Studycrumb, the editing and proofreading company, is looking for a professional editor to work in our office in Great Falls, Montana. You'll join a friendly group of creative people to help students with proofreading their academic papers.
In this position, your main responsibility is to proofread the documents written by both our specialists and students. Mostly these are college papers of various levels and subjects. You will also interact with remote editors to help them if they have any questions about work. If you are quite experienced in proofreading, we'll be glad to see you here. Together, we will make all the texts perfect!
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master degree
- Great editing and proofreading skills
- You have to proofread texts quickly but accurately
- A great willing to develop your professionalism
- Good writing skills
- Ability to work in a team and also to fulfill your own tasks independently
- We prefer an average speed of your editing around 1,000-1,500 words/hour
- Good knowledge of writing styles (APA, MLA) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Proofreading of a big flow of various academic papers for students
- Proofreading urgent tasks with a high priority
- Full-time work in our office (12-month contract)
